Our fees are fixed for straight forward applications. If your case is more complex, we will tell you before you instruct us.

Salem Legal Services Fee Structure
At Salem Legal Services, we aim to give high-quality legal advice at an affordable price.
How we charge
We work on a fixed fee basis. This means the full fee is payable when you instruct us.
Paying in instalments
In exceptional cases, if you cannot pay the full fee at once, we may accept 70% when you instruct us and the rest in instalments. This must be agreed with us in advance and is subject to our terms and conditions, including our instalment payment policy.
Changes to your fee
Your fee may change if we need to do extra or unexpected work on your case, for example, if we need to instruct a barrister. If this happens, we will write to you first and agree on a limit on any extra charges with you. We will let you know when that limit is reached.
Home Office and other fees
Home Office application fees, the Immigration Health Surcharge and any other official fees are not paid to Salem Legal Services. You pay these directly to the Home Office or the relevant body, using your own debit or credit card.
